Syed Amjad Ali is a software engineer with a passion for technology, open source, and beautiful design. He is currently working as a Software Engineering Intern at nextdrop, where he has helped develop the new sign-up flow on the frontend and contributed to the backend and NLP modules. His tech stack includes Python, Django, NLTK, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and HTML5 Geolocation API. Previously, Syed has worked as a Software Engineering Intern at Zillionminds Technologies, where he built the prototype for a service aggregator, designed and built the backend REST APIs, and built a mobile app using NativeScript framework. He has also worked as a Software Engineering Intern at Akamai, where he worked on a REST web service using the modern Java enterprise stack. Syed has a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Information Science from PES Institute of Technology, Bangalore South Campus. He also attended Delhi Public School, Bilaspur, for his secondary education.
